Experience the Grades

(Adults only)

The Grades and Early Childhood Departments will host an Experience the Grades morning at our school. Parents will have an opportunity to experience the grades curriculum through hands-on mini-lessons from movement activities and blackboard work, you will be a 1st grade student and work your way up through the upper-grade levels! This is a very special event and not to be missed.

This is a glimpse into a Waldorf grades program, and much different than a “school tour.” Rather, it is a sampling of the unique aspects of the 1st – 8th grade curriculum delivery of a Waldorf school.

Reservations are required by Feb. 26, 2020.

RSVP with Amy Kopald, 3rd/4th Grade Teacher.

What’s your vision for our school?

Our School is Growing. Let’s build our dream school together.

All school families, faculty and board members are invited to join us for a full day Visioning Workshop to develop a unified vision for our dream school.

The day will include:

• Our history as a school

• Examples of other Waldorf schools who have turned their vision into reality

• Group Visioning of our ideal school

• Introduction of Acorns to Oaks, our campaign for growth

• Invite everyone to become involved in actively creating our vision

The Visioning Workshop will be moderated by George Hoffecker and Donna Burgess, from Hoffecker Burgess Consulting. They’ve had decades of experience helping Waldorf schools like ours develop unified, long-term visions for growth.

ACORNS TO OAKS CAMPAIGN | A CAMPAIGN TO GROW ON
This Visioning Workshop will be the official kick-off to our Acorns to Oaks campaign for growth. It’s an important first step in developing a unified vision for our dream school.
We invite you to come share your ideas about how our school should grow and how we can best serve our children and our community moving forward.
Our vision will ultimately come to life in a plan for a permanent campus that can hold our students for years to come and a capital campaign that will help us raise the funds we need to make our vision a reality.
The workshop will be facilitated by George Hoffecker and Donna Burgess from Hoffecker Burgess Consulting. They’ve had decades of experience helping Waldorf schools like ours develop unified, long-term visions for growth.
We look forward to seeing you at this event and to hear your vision for the future of our school. We encourage at least one parent from every school family to attend this event.
