On Saturday, October 13, 2018, families and friends gathered at Nevada Sage Waldorf School to celebrate our annual Harvest Festival.
Children enjoyed activities such as the apple press, an acorn treasure hunt and handcrafting of leather goods. The parking lot was transformed into a stage for live music performed by The Sierra Sweethearts and our Waldorf students from grades 4-7 prompting dancers of all ages to join in the Virginia Reel.
Our 5th Annual Handmade Market was a success with amazingly creative knitted treasures, woodworking creations, baked good and a lovely assortment of fall decorations. And great job to our Early Childhood and Grades families who made pots and pots of homemade soup for our first Soups On Harvest Soup and Bread Offering.
We want to thank all our volunteers, Parent Council, Sara Kuhns, Vicki Seaton and Erica Armstrong for all your love and efforts in making this year’s Harvest Festival and Handmade Auction a joyful celebration.
