Harvest Festival & Handmade Market

Saturday, October 5, 2019 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Hosted by Parent Council
Nevada Sage Waldorf School celebrates the Harvest Festival and Michaelmas during the autumnal equinox, and we invite our community in the celebration that reminds us of the courage that we see around us every day in noble acts, large and small. Come out and join Nevada Sage Waldorf’s families and friends for an early evening that will include music, performances and craft activities. Come shop our handmade market, and sample chilies and soups made by our class parents.

CALLING ALL CRAFTERS
We have a talented community (parents, children, teachers, grandparents) which values handwork and handmade items. Please share your talents with the community either with something you make, a service you can offer, or a class you could teach others.
Some ideas include: photography, weaving, beading, baking, cooking, soap making, woodworking, knitting, crochet, sewing, quilting, felting, gardening, fix-it services, welding, etc…
SUBMIT HANDMADE ITEMS BY OCTOBER 2nd
Please label each item with the name of the crafter and drop off your items at the school office.
DELIVER BAKED GOODS ON OCTOBER 5th
Please wrap items to sell and include the ingredients on the labels. In the past, people have loved buying whole pies, cakes, and loaves of bread as well as individual servings.
