Rising 1st-grade parents (and curious or interested parents of a 5 year-old!)

This event is of utmost importance to parents with children turning six by April First. It also can be very informative for parents whose children will stay in kindergarten one more year, so we welcome them to attend, too.
The meeting will be facilitated by Mrs. Kopald, the school’s Second/Third Grade teacher. Mrs. Kopald is a veteran Waldorf teacher with years of experience in both the early childhood and grade levels. She will be speaking about “first-grade readiness” and what your child does in his/her final year of kindergarten in preparation for the grades school. You will hear about the curriculum in the grades, specifically 1st grade, and in what ways we can support children with the gift of Waldorf education. Our administrator, Kelli Anastassatos, will also join us that evening to answer any questions about the school in general or enrollment into the grade school.
Childcare will be provided if needed. RSVP IS REQUIRED with Amy Kopald
