Early Childhood Teacher

We are seeking experienced, motivated and enthusiastic teachers to work with the young children of our school, bringing warmth, consistency, and rhythm to the early childhood program. Our ideal candidates are trained in Waldorf education. Candidates with teaching experience and a strong interest in Waldorf education, and a willingness to become a certified Waldorf teacher will be considered. Our Early Childhood classes are mixed-age, with children 2.5 to 4 years old. This salaried position offers benefits such as tuition remission, mentoring, financial support for professional development, health-, vision-, and dental insurance. The work of an Early Childhood Teacher requires the following minimum qualifications: AA, BA, MA degree or equivalent diploma, early childhood teaching experience, Waldorf Early Childhood Teacher Training certificate, Current enrollment in an appropriate program, or a willingness to enroll in such a program. Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and Child Abuse Reference Check (CAIC) background clearance. Music Teacher

Our faculty is seeking a like-minded colleague who is committed to collegial collaboration, self-development, and excellence in teaching. The Grades Music Teacher instructs students in grades 1-7 in several musical modalities: · Pentatonic Instruments · Recorder · Voice/choir · Woodwinds · Symphonic Ensemble The content of instruction will be determined, in part, by the skill set that the music teacher currently possesses and develops over time through professional development. A Music Teacher is expected to be committed to and actively support the mission and educational goals of Nevada Sage Waldorf School. The Teacher shall teach from a foundation of the Waldorf educational philosophy, and integrate this foundation with other current educational approaches. A Music Teacher is responsible for meeting the educational needs of assigned students and for providing appropriate instruction as prescribed by the Nevada Sage Waldorf School curriculum and grade level standards. Particular emphasis will be placed on the following areas: academic excellence, developmentally appropriate curriculum, consideration of individual student differences, development of social skills, thorough lesson preparation, artistic presentation and classroom management. Expectations and Responsibilities: A Music Teacher shall participate in the development and improvement of the school’s pedagogy through an active role in faculty meetings and other events where faculty attendance is important (such as back-to-school night, festivals, parent education events, etc.). In order to continuously improve his/her teaching ability, a Music Teacher is expected to actively seek and participate in teacher enrichment opportunities, continuing education, workshops, reading publications, etc. A Music Teacher is expected to actively engage parents in their children’s education, and shall provide appropriate and timely feedback regarding student’s growth, development and progress. Spanish Teacher

Nevada Sage Waldorf School is seeking an experienced Spanish Language Teacher to join our school community for the 2025- 2026 school year. Responsibilities include teaching 2 periods per week for four combined classes, 1st - 8th grades. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic teacher to work with children, ages 6.5 to 14 years old. Our class sizes are 15 or less students. Our language teacher will be responsible for guiding each class with curriculum and activities that meet the needs of each developmental stage based on Waldorf pedagogy. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and formal experience teaching elementary and middle school students in a Waldorf environment and is committed to collegial collaboration, self-development, and a willingness to build a strong foreign language program for our expanding grade school.
