Nursery Lead Teacher
We are seeking an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic teacher to work with the young children of our school, bringing warmth, consistency, and rhythm to the early childhood program. Our Nursery program is many families introduction to our school and is the classroom of our 2 year-olds. This position requires a Waldorf teacher certification, a Lifeways program certification, or the intention/want to become certified. This salaried position offers benefits such as tuition remission, mentoring, financial support for professional development and Waldorf teacher training, health-, vision-, and dental insurance. The work of the Nursery Lead Teacher requires the following minimum qualifications: AA, BA, MA degree or equivalent diploma, early childhood teaching experience, Waldorf Early Childhood Teacher Training certificate (currently enrolled, fully trained, or the intention to begin). Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and Child Abuse Reference Check (CAIC) background clearance. Must register with the Nevada Registry and keep current with Nevada licensing requirements for Childcare Centers. Must return a negative TB test and be CPR certified. Early Childhood Assistant Teacher
Nevada Sage Waldorf School is seeking a warm, grounded, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Assistant Teacher to join our Waldorf early childhood program. This position is ideal for someone who is deeply interested in child development, values rhythm and relationship, and wishes to support young children through a play-based and developmentally appropriate environment. Early Childhood Substitute
Nevada Sage Waldorf School is seeking experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic teachers to work with the young children of our school, bringing warmth, consistency, and rhythm to our early childhood program. Our mixed-age classrooms serve children ages 2–6. This part-time, on-call position offers flexibility while ensuring ample opportunities to work, as there is always a need for substitutes within our program. Substitutes play an essential role in supporting our faculty and maintaining the daily flow of the classroom when teachers are absent. Responsibilities: Provide a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment for young children. Support the established rhythm and routines of the classroom. Work collaboratively with faculty and staff to maintain a consistent and caring experience for children. Engage children in daily activities including free play, circle time, snack, outdoor play, and rest. Follow school policies and licensing requirements to ensure the safety and well-being of all children. Schedule & Compensation: On-call, part-time position, Monday–Friday between 7:15 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Flexible scheduling based on school needs. Compensation: $18. Requirements: Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Child Abuse & Neglect Central Registry (CANS/CAIC) background clearances. Must register with the Nevada Registry and remain current with Nevada licensing requirements for Childcare Centers. Must provide proof of a negative TB test. CPR/First Aid certification required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting. Familiarity with or interest in Waldorf education.
