Michaelmas
Michaelmas is a fall festival that celebrates the strength and courage of the human spirit, marked by vibrant festivities, storytelling, and seasonal activities that honor the themes of light overcoming darkness and the triumph of will over adversity.
Harvest Festival
The Harvest Festival celebrates the abundance of the fall season through joyful activities, storytelling, and a deep appreciation for nature's gifts, fostering a sense of community and gratitude.
Annual Giving Campaign Fundraiser
The Annual Giving Campaign, held each fall, is a key fundraiser that brings together our faculty, families, board members, and local community to support our school. Contributions directly impact the quality of education, enhancing opportunities for our students and supporting our dedicated staff. We are deeply grateful for the generosity of those who help sustain and strengthen our school.
Lantern Walk
The Lantern Walk celebrates St. Martin's Day (Martinmas), a festival of inner light amidst the encroaching darkness of winter. Children craft their own lanterns as symbols of their personal light. On a crisp, dark evening, families and teachers gather to walk together, singing under the stars, with their lanterns glowing brightly in the night.
Handmade Market
The Handmade Market features a variety of knitted treasures, woodworking creations, baked goods, and Fall decor, with the upper grades hosting the event to raise funds for a special field trip.
Advent Spiral
In this moving ceremony of light, children walk a spiral path of evergreens, lighting a candle at the center and placing it along the path, gradually filling the darkened hall with light to celebrate the awakening of inner light and the promise that spring will soon return.
Spring Auction Event
The Spring Auction is a vibrant gala event that combines an exciting auction with a festive celebration. Featuring generous sponsorships and a lively atmosphere, the auction showcases one-of-a-kind handmade masterpieces created by each class. This annual fundraiser brings our community together to support the school while celebrating the artistry and creativity of our students.
May Faire
The May Faire is a beloved spring festival that celebrates the beauty and joy of the season. The event features colorful booths with flower crown making, raffles, delicious food, and lively activities for all ages. The highlight of the day is the joyful May Pole dances, performed by our grade school students to cheerful music. It’s a day of community, creativity, and celebration, welcoming the warmth and spirit of spring!
